The cartridge have a strong absorption ability. Its structure is foam-like, with a lot of open-cell micro-bubbles on the surface.
The cartridges should be used for treatment of cold drinking and all-purpose water. They should not be used on micro-biologically contaminated water, or on water from an unknown source. The cartridges are manufactured in the EU.
